WHO I WORK WITH

I work with individuals, couples, and adolescents navigating emotional, relational, and identity challenges.

MY APPROACH

My approach is strength‑based, trauma‑informed, and deeply integrative. I draw from multiple modalities including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and embodied mindfulness practices (massage/yoga training) to create a coherent, embodied framework for healing and growth. I see therapy as a collaborative process that honors the mind‑body connection and the unique story each person carries. Playful and authentic in my style, I love helping clients gain insight, build resilience, and experience meaningful change in how they relate to themselves and others.

MY BACKGROUND

Over the years, I've had the privilege of working with individuals across many stages of life and in a variety of settings, including residential treatment, community mental health, elementary and high schools, and private practice settings. I've worked with  children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families through a wide range of life experiences including navigating complex trauma, severe mental health challenges, life transitions, identity development, and relationship concerns. Working in these diverse environments has shaped my trauma‑informed, client‑centered approach and deepened my understanding of how family systems, developmental stages, and social contexts influence emotional well‑being.

In addition to my clinical training, I am also a Certified Massage Therapist and Registered Yoga Teacher. Working with the body in this way has only reinforced my belief that healing is something we experience throughout the whole body. I approach therapy with an appreciation for the relationship between our nervous system, emotions, physical sensations, and lived experiences, helping clients move toward greater connection, balance, and wholeness.

WHY I LOVE THIS WORK

I love connecting with people on a deeper level and helping them see the strength and beauty that’s already within them. It’s such a privilege to reflect those qualities back and watch confidence and self‑trust begin to grow. This work allows me to help others navigate a complex world with more hope, self‑trust, and internal security. Every session feels like an invitation to rediscover what’s possible when someone feels seen, supported, and empowered to grow.

A BIT MORE ABOUT ME...

I’m creative, high‑energy, and always chasing new adventures. I am happiest when I’m on a hike, in a bookstore, or being playful with my son.  I’ll take any excuse to make a costume, talk with someone new, or dive into a topic that sparks curiosity. I’m an optimist and a believer in luck, altruism, and the power of connection. I love to learn, to create, and to keep life interesting. More than anything, I love being a mom. Seeing the world through my son’s eyes reminds me how much wonder there still is and how good it feels to make memories that matter.
